Morgan Academy Parent Partnership (MAPP) are to hold a meeting on Tuesday 23 March 2010 in Morgan Academy, Meeting Room (1st Floor) at 6.30pm. All Parents very welcome.

MAPP Details
Unlike the old School Boards where parents were elected onto the Board, every parent is automatically a member of MAPP and the more parents that attend meetings then the more effective MAPP can be.

| Minutes - Matters arising
| Mrs Low sent thanks for supporting letter for travel plans she is to take this forward. No members of the committee will be able to attend the S1 Parent evening due to other commitment, although members in attendance as parents of P7. |

| Pupil Report | Due to a number of commitments Pupil rep has stood down. New reps are to be requested from Pupil council in new term. |
| Parent Report | Mrs Reilly attended a meeting with Mrs T Jamieson where a draft guide for parents of secondary school children was discussed – Feedback requested for the follow up meeting at the end of the month. |
| AGM | The Passport for Learning evening is to be held on Tuesday 21 September 2010 at 7pm in the school hall the AGM is to be tagged on at the end at approx 8pm. |
| Any other business | Mrs Paterson suggested that S5 & S6 inductions be held jointly as most of them in the same classes – Mr Shaw is to review this with colleagues. Fundraising idea – jute bags with school building photo to sell to parents. Mrs Barty to investigate this. |
